Why Am I Not Losing Weight?

There are 2 main things to consider when wanting to lose weight; Eating and Exercising right.

Not eating right

  1. You are eating too many calories
  2. You’re not keeping track of what you are eating.
  3. Not eating enough protein.
  4. You are eating too much carbohydrates
  5. You are drinking sugar, alcohol

Nowadays there are many tools that help you get on the right track in terms of weight loss. For instance, start by calculating your BMI via the BMI Online Calculator.  The body mass index (BMI) takes into account your height (in meters squared) and weight (in kilograms) and works out if your weight is healthy.

Once you have determined your BMI, you can then take a look at the Weight Loss Formula:

Total Calories consumed/in < Total Calories burned/out = Weight Loss

This means if that you consume less calories than you burn, then over time you will lose weight. The opposite is also true, where if you consume more calories than you burn, you will gain weight. Should you consume the same amount of calories that you burn, then you will maintain your weight. It’s simple math!

To be able to conform to the above, you need to regularly pay attention to what you eat by tracking the amount of calories daily that you need via the Calorie Calculator. Then once you have determined the amount of calories you need daily, you can start to weigh and measure yourself, once a week at least, to start seeing the changes.

Not exercising right
